Setu is where the quest of self-actualization took a woman who felt that making the spiritual connect with her fellow women through yoga and spreading its physical benefits was what she wanted to do in life. After much of her life spent engaged in rearing a family, Raina ji realised that there needed to be a space for women where they could come together and do the sort of things they had compromised on all their lives. It’s a small-town story of a women’s collective coming into being where it’s about finding some time for yourself, and trying to self-indulge through yoga and socialize through various other recreational facilities that setu provides.
Yoga is the perfect way to do that and bring that spiritual comfort in one’s life. It relaxes the mind and the body and takes one through a journey of empowerment as it instils in one the happiness and spiritual freedom that comes with a healthy mind and body. For some, it’s an escape from the toils of daily life of being a woman who is trodded day in and day out to find a little time for herself top focus on her outer and inner beauty and for some it’s about physical strength and mobility. While for some it’s about making friends, and having a space where one could talk and find the necessary power package for the next day.
